Jessner Peel

Is ideal for lightening areas of hyperpigmentation, to treat mild blemishes or improve the appearance of scars, and to improve sun-damaged skin.  Equal Parts of Salicylic Acid, Lactic Acid and Reservatrol of 14% each.

You can layer up to 6 times. This is a self neutralizing peel. There maybe frosting that may occur.  If you want to add more peeling you can use a retinol product.

 Allow to Dry/frost. Need to have the skin wet w/ water before use.

PRODUCT DETAILS

The Jessner peel is a highly effective peeling agent formulated with a blend of resorcinol, lactic acid, and salicylic acid. It is a deeper, more intensive peel than our other acid peel offerings, and should only be used by experienced peel users who have previously used salicylic acid 20% or glycolic acid 50% with no problems.

The Jessner peel is ideal for lightening areas of hyperpigmentation, to treat mild acne or improve the appearance of acne scars, and to improve sun-damaged skin. The Jessner peel strips off the damaged surface skin while stimulating the development of fibroplasts and collagen in the deeper dermal layers. Repeated treatments will bring significant improvement to the tone, texture, and quality of the skin.

KEY INGREDIENTS

Salicylic acid is a beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) which is derived from willow bark. As a BHA, it is fat-soluble and can penetrate into the lipid layer of the skin to unclog pores, reducing breakouts and blemishes.

Lactic acid is an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) derived from milk. It is often used to treat hyperpigmentation, age spots, an uneven complexion. Other benefits include improved skin tone and reduced pores. It also gently exfoliates and stimulates collagen production.

It is used in breaking down rough, scaly, or hardened skin which helps in treating breakouts, seborrheic dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, and other skin disorders.

Reservatrol is a powerful anti-oxidant found in grapes and wine. As a polyphenol, it has incredible anti-oxidant properties to reduce free radicals, protect collagen and skin, and also even skin tones.

Processing Time:  Prep with L.E.Beauty prep pads.  Need to have the skin wet w/ water before use.  You can Layer up to 6 times and no neutralizer is needed.  Allow to Dry/frost.  These are not removed; the client follows special care instructions for the next 24-48 hours, depending on the procedure.  Use on skin that has Acne, photo damage, Aging, hyperpigmentation.  Fitzpatrick Scale 1-6.  A Retinol product can be added if you want to add more peeling.
